There are some drawbacks living in such a heavily populated area, larger commute times with heavy traffic, longer wait times at your favorite restaurant, parking lot at the mall looking like ‘Black Friday” every Friday. However nothing beats the fact that we live in the best place on earth, and major recording music megastars are happy to visit and sing for us…..often! I’m not talking two or three great artists for the evening, but nearly 15 for the weekend, instead!
AEG and Toyota Stadium are partnering to bring the inaugural Off the Rails Country Music Weekend to DFW on April 23-24 to Toyota Stadium in the heart of Frisco. Along with an amazing line up the festival will also include “a street taco cook-off, bourbon tasting tent, local craft beers and BBQ, interactive games, two step dance lessons, a trading post full of local western products, and much more to be announced.
Saturday, the opening day of the event, will feature:
Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Eli Young Band, Joe Nichols, Ashley Monroe, Waterloo Revival, and Midland
And then on Sunday, to finish it off:
Eric Church, Sam Hunt, Chase Rice, Casey Donahew Band, Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, and Native Run.
